Sunday Morning at Cedar Lane

We invite you to join us for two different opportunities to gather on Sunday morning.

  • At 9:00 AM, please join us in person in the chapel for Quiet Callings, a space of reflection and renewal with quiet music, readings, and guided meditation.

  • At 10:30 AM, please join us for Cedar Lane's worship service in the sanctuary.   As always, we also livestream worship services at 10:30 AM on YouTube

  • Faith Formation classes for children and youth take place concurrently with worship on Sundays at 10:30 AM. Nursery care is available for children under five. Babies, children, and youth are welcome in worship with their parents.

  • As we gather in the beautiful sanctuary, please help us care for our new space. Please refrain from bringing drinks or food into the sanctuary.

With regard to the main building:

  • Through the end is in sight, there are still a few more weeks of work on the upgraded fire alarm system and various state and county inspections to be completed.  Most recently, we passed the plumbing inspection; stained the nosing on the stage steps, which is beautiful but also a safety feature; installed solar lights on the deck; and had the entirety of the construction area professionally cleaned.  You'll also see that the organ has been uncovered, and will be cleaned shortly and prepared for playing again.

  • While areas of the main building look complete, please do not enter areas that have been under construction. There is no access to the social hall, the upstairs hallway with the bathrooms, and most of the downstairs.

  • Restrooms available for use on Sunday:

    • A clean portable toilet with hand-washing station behind the chapel (wheelchair accessible). Use of the portable toilet is encouraged.

    • Restroom at the bottom of the stairs near the chapel (not wheelchair accessible).

    • Restrooms in the Chalice House (wheelchair accessible).

Need to Contact Cedar Lane staff?

  • Cedar Lane teams are welcome to contact Lizzie Person, Office Administrator (lperson@cedarlane.org) to schedule onsite meetings.

  • Mail is being delivered to the building and collected by staff.  Many staff continue to work remotely and email remains the best way to be in touch.
